About Sophia
Since 1996, Sophia Blanton has taught at international schools, institutions and arts festivals, among them the UNESCO World Dance Congress. Her work as a dancer, educator and choreographer spans stage and screen, with credits such as the Netflix series Marco Polo.
An accomplished dancer in folkloric and contemporary forms, Sophia has spent three decades exploring how breath, movement and image awaken graceful presence in the human body. Through her singular teachings, she has helped countless people discover and embody something she has always known: The body itself is a work of art.
