The Creation of Studio 160

I previously shared a historic downtown Medford studio with my studio mates, Taylor Marie and Debbie Thornton. I had the privilege of being there for almost 9 years. In 2024, we decided we had outgrown the space and wanted to look at new options. After not having any luck finding a new studio space, we decided to explore building a new one.

We thought if we could combine our resources and our strengths, we could create a dream space for all of us; a creative collective. So we went from studio mates to business partners, and Studio 160 was born.

It took 11 months from our first meeting with the building owner to moving in, and it was all worth it. Located in Talent, Oregon, every detail was custom designed and is the result of our shared visions and creativity. The studio features 7+ shooting areas, 16’ high ceilings, a cyclorama wall, a fully functional clawfoot bathtub, a dedicated boudoir area, and is fully ADA accessible. The studio also features abundant options for both natural and controlled light.

A rising tide lifts all ships, and Studio 160 exemplifies this. Together, we are stronger, and together, we will continue to bring art, joy, and unforgettable experiences to the Rogue Valley and beyond.
