About Angelica

My journey into the business world began in my teenage years, shaped by a unique homeschooling upbringing and a natural curiosity for entrepreneurship…

From a young age, I learned the ropes of business administration. Helping my parents with secretarial work and cold calling at the age of 13. I was fascinated by business, but identified strongly as an artist, spending hours at a time creating colored pencil portraits. I dreamed that I would be a portrait artist when I grew up.

Fast forward to 2014 in my last year of college as a business major. My degree had an emphasis in Hospitality and Tourism management and I knew I wanted to create a business that led from a place of service while also being a creative outlet. My husband and I launched our first business, a video production company, and failed spectacularly. But that experience wasn't for nothing as it set the stage for my next venture: a boutique portrait studio in 2017 that exceeded six figures in its first year with nothing short of 5-star reviews. I discovered photography as a means to create portraits and I did it! I became a professional portrait artist! I loved crafting immersive experiences for my clients and showing them how beautiful they truly are. It was the perfect blend of hospitality and art, and I felt like I had found my calling.

Life took a detour in 2019 after suffering from severe postpartum depression. I had to close my books and I looked for a job to keep me busy and making money while I focused on my health. I stumbled into a job opportunity with a major auto retailer and the next 5 years took a major turn. I went on to play a key role in building a Fortune 500 brand from the ground up, helping it scale to over $300 million in annual revenue. I created training programs for national sales teams and led impactful projects in operations, sales enablement, process improvement, and change management. I learned so much from that experience, but mostly this: influence and fancy titles don't mean anything if the work you're doing isn't with purpose and to benefit all that are involved. I could no longer stand for what Corporate America represented, so I left that cushy job and all the promotional opportunities it offered in order to get back to my entrepreneurial roots. I started consulting small businesses in 2023, and went full time in early 2024.

What drives me most is a deep passion for service. I truly believe that life’s greatest purpose is found in helping others, and I carry this belief into every partnership I form. My approach is boutique and hands-on, and I work exclusively with purpose-driven brands that prioritize impact over profit. Together, we build people-first cultures, refine processes, and elevate sales and marketing strategies so my clients can serve better, grow smarter, and create lasting, positive change in their communities.

Outside of my work, I find balance and inspiration through martial arts, Pilates, and strength training; disciplines that ground me with focus and resilience. When I started prioritizing my health and wellbeing, everything in my life changed for the better. At home, my heart is with my husband Rory, who has been my partner since 2011, and our young family of 2 children and 2 cats.

I continue to explore my creative side through portrait photography, while I guide businesses towards success. A serial entrepreneur at heart, I’m always envisioning new ventures and exploring innovative business concepts. With several ideas currently in development, I thrive on the excitement of bringing creative visions to life and building impactful brands that align with my values of service, authenticity, and growth.
